A mentoring programme to create your own unique self-care regime and bring more balance to your life.

How is it that some people seem to have their life so together? They seem to manage everything that’s thrown at them effortlessly without getting stressed, overwhelmed or exhausted.
On the other hand, you feel like you are always running just to keep up, not quite getting the balance in life that you crave and that seems to come so naturally to people around you.

The Grounded Guide is a mentoring programme based around self-care. It helps you move past feelings of overwhelm, to create a more balanced life where you can prioritise your own needs, grow your resilience and find more space for enjoyment.

Let me be frank. Self-care is not always easy. It isn’t just about indulging yourself with the occasional treat. True self-care is something we need to include in our daily lives; it’s about delving deep and involves looking at:

~  how we respond to life events and build resilience
~  how we speak to ourselves
~  how we ground ourselves and remain calm in times of need

In short, it calls on us to be really honest about who we are and what we need. Right now, tomorrow and every day after. That can be daunting and that’s where The Grounded Guide can help:

Here’s how it works:

~ We work together over eight sessions to work out what true self-care means for you and how to best integrate it into your daily life.

~ We will discover what types of self-care provide enjoyment and satisfaction for you and address your core needs.

~ We will look at what you already do in terms of your well-being and how to expand your own unique self-care regime without having to give up all of your time to it.

~ We will discover what types of self-care provide enjoyment and satisfaction for you and address your core needs.

~ We will investigate ways to grow your resilience and overcome challenges in a way that helps you to keep your stress levels down and find breathing space when you need it most.

What’s included in the programme?

~ 8 online video call or phone sessions over a period of up to 4 months. These can be recorded for you if you wish so you can listen to them again when needed.

~ In between session support via text or email

~ Homework! You’ll have exercises to work on and techniques to try for yourself to build a toolbox of skills and resources that work for you. 

~ Resources; Access to articles, tips and techniques from myself and other practitioners I know and trust

This programme is about delving deep into your feelings and emotions and finding the best tools for you that you can call on whenever you need them; when you feel great, when you feel ok and when you feel in need. Whilst we will explore different techniques and methods together, it’s NOT about me telling you what to do each day or in a certain situation. This programme will always be led by what YOU feel works best for YOU.

Who am I to do this?

I’ve worked in the massage industry for over 16 years and throughout that time, my focus has been on self-care; not just in the form of touch therapy and pain relief through massage but in looking at what self-care means to each of us and how we can best care for ourselves from day to day. In fact, self-care was the driving force in me changing my career all those years ago; I wanted more balance and more enjoyment in my life and letting go of what wasn’t working for me allowed me to find that.

Using my sixteen years experience as a therapist and self-care mentor, I want to guide you in finding what really works for you and how to move forward with your unique self-care regime.

What is the cost?

The cost of the programme is £600. You can pay this in one payment or spread the cost over 4 payments of £150 per month.
